Oooooh La la…….. Here come’s Summer!!!

“Land  of the Free, Home of the brave”. Yes America!!! thanks for the warm welcome you gave to my childhood friend on her first visit to the United States.She moved to Seattle a month ago  from India. Initially she  was  in awe  at how quite, serene and peaceful it was in Seattle compared to the daily chaos in  the streets of Delhi. Just when she was beginning to settle down and   get accustomed to the  serenity of her new town, she was taken by surprise and slowly the  words that she had long heard began to sink in …. …” Land of the free, home of the brave “.

Last  Weekend, the Annual Fremont Solstice Parade happened to take place right near her house. It was to celebrate the summer  solstice, the longest day of the year, which was on Wednesday( June 20, 2012). For more details about this event, click on the link below.

Thanks for sharing these amazing pictures. I have been in the States for the last  7years and have never seen such a spectacle. America truely loves you and I hope your journey continues to be fun and exciting.
